Opening:
1. Review 236-237 in SB.  

• What were some interesting points made in your discussions yesterday
• What are the challenges of literature circles?

2. Preview the handout.

3. In pairs, write down the same information for the novel you've been assigned to preview. 

Work Period:
4. Share your preview with the class.

5. Respond to three titles that interest you on the Graphic Organizer (back side)

6. Form your group and select a title for the Literature Circle Book.

7. Create a timeline and assign roles for each meeting.
